NYE Recap

Guys, I had no idea what to get my man for Christmas. Like NO idea. So when I got an email from Ticketmaster (which I usually delete) I decided to open it & that was definitely a good choice! In the email was an advertisement for Kevin Hart at The Staples Center. My boyfriend loves him so I instantly hit "buy". Not only did it take care of the stress of getting a Christmas gift for him, but it also took care of our plans for NYE which was nice.

Somehow we got reservations at a nice steakhouse in LA called Nick & Stef's the day before NYE. We were kind of with the older folk since we had to take a 5:45pm reservation but we were okay with that because everywhere else was booked and it was looking like we'd have to hit up McDonald's for dinner, haha.

Our meals were delicious. They had this delicious popovers that they brought to your table, omg YUM! I ordered Creamed Cauliflower Soup for an appetizer and the boy got a Crab Cake (ew!). For our entree, I had a petit filet mignon and he had a rib-eye & we shared a side of macaroni and cheese. Guys, this mac-n-cheese was amazing!! Like, holy cow I want to go back & eat here just for the mac and cheese!

We ended up having a lot of time to kill before the show started (it didn't start until 10pm) so we headed over to Morton's Steakhouse to have some champagne and dessert. We ordered a Hot Chocolate Cake which was basically like a lava chocolate cake & it was delish.

Then it was time to laugh! We were um, definitely among the minority at this show but we didn't care. The two opening comedians were great as was Kevin! He makes really funny noises & he had fire which he was really excited about. At the end of the show, he brought his little kids out and we counted down to the New Year.

Overall, it was a great night!
