Going Paleo

So Paleo has definitely been going around the blogosphere for a while now. When I started Weight Watchers & was entering in my food, I noticed I am basically supposed to eat Paleo if I don't want to go over on my points (which duh, of course I don't want to go over, that's how I'm going to lose weight). Foods that are high in points are basically the no, no's in Paleo eating. So...I asked the bf if he would go Paleo with me for 2 weeks to test it out and he agreed. (I was shocked...I don't think he knows how different it will be, haha, should be fun!)

I've done my research and created a Pinterest board with some recipes & reminders of what we can/can't have and we're going to go grocery shopping tonight! If any of you have any good recipes or tips you'd like to share, please do! You can comment here or send me an email. =)

Here's to cutting out the crap!

PS. The good thing about Paleo is that they follow an 85/15 rule which means you can have 3 non-paleo meals a week so I think that will keep us sane, haha.

  1. Interesting... I cant decided on how I feel about Paleo... Normally I just eat in moderation (most of the time), but when I looked into I kinda noticed the same thing... I was pretty much already eating paleo! Cant wait to hear what you think!

  2. I love that you posted this! I've been thinking of trying this as well and you've just talked me in to it! I mean 2-weeks is totally doable! Us '10 in 35' girls need to stick together and stay motivated! I've been sick for the past week and have had ZERO exercise.. so I need to get back with it! Loving your posts! :)
